Center for Health, Environment, & Justice - www.chej.org
Protects communities from exposures to dangerous environmental chemicals in the air, water and soil. Increases public awareness and advocates for corporate responsibility and prevention of harm. Includes: BE SAFE and other great campaigns.
National Resources Defense Council - www.nrdc.org
Working to solve pressing environmental issues such as curbing global warming, getting toxic chemicals out of the environment, moving America beyond oil, and saving wildlife and wild places including our oceans. Includes: Green Living Guides.
This information can be unsettling. While I don't recommend anyone obsess about every possible toxic element in the world, I do believe people have the right to be informed, and to choose to take action in reducing their exposures.

Deepak Chopra
An icon of the spiritual healing movement, recently more visible in the mainstream media with appearances on shows like Larry King Live. Deepak Chopra focuses on spiritual healing, consciousness, and transformation. A very nurturing and accessible style, and a wonderfully soothing voice. I could listen to him all day!
Wayne Dyer
You may have seen his PBS specials or his guest appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Wayne Dyer assists people on their quest for a life of meaning and purpose, with an emphasis on the power of positive thinking. Very inspiring and motivational, with a simple very accessible style. Offers a variety of books and products, including his movie "The Shift."
Louise Hay
One of the founders of the self-help movement in the 1970's, and currently the head of Hay House Publishing, her messages still ring true today. Her book, You Can Heal Your Life, is still considered to be a "self-help bible". Louise Hay helps people heal their lives using the mind-body connection via positive affirmations and the power of positive thinking.
